Welcome to the World Affairs Council of America California Central Coast Chapter website. Our goal is to present world leaders and engaging speakers on a variety of today's most relevant global issues.

WACA promotes understanding by sponsoring public programs for citizens of all ages that foster discussion of international issues. We do this through programs such as:

Engaging policy makers;
Educational programs;
Business roundtables;
Travel programs for teachers;
Thematic speakers series; and
Conducting internationally oriented events.

Mission Statement

The World Affairs Council of America is a national association with a half million members and participants from coast to coast. We seek to create citizens well-informed in world affairs, to build international interests among young people, and to enhance international understanding. From religion to medicine, government to education, and science to culture, WACA presents your world to you with engaging speakers.
